Mr.Pankaj Chowdhury, the Founder Chairman of GitaRam Education And Health foundation had the dream of creating a garden where kids will come, play, learn and live their life. Thus, on 15th April, 1999 he laid the foundation of GitaRam Academy , which started its journey with only 102 children and 12 (teaching & non-teaching) staffs. Gradually the Institute enlarged its arms and in the year,2001 GitaRam Institute of Management under M.A.K.A.U.T. and in the year 2004 GitaRam Higher Secondary School (W.B.B.S.E. & W.B.C.H.S.E.) were established successively. Mr Chowdhury had felt the need of serving people by providing the best Medical facilities and treatment and thus GitaRam Multispeciality Hospital was founded in the year 2007. Recently, a landmark achievement of GitaRam Education And Health Foundation is the establishment of GitaRam National School (C.B.S.E.) in 2017.

Today, the school has a strength of 1200 students and 60+ teachers and 50+ non-teaching staff
