The Earth and Space Fair
With public appreciation and never ending student enthusiasm, on ‘The World Earth Day ‘, our Institution, GitaRam Education and Health Foundation decided to organize a two day mega event, "The Earth and Space Fair,2017".
We deeply felt the need for bringing the irreparable damage that is being done to the mother earth by various human activities to the mind of future citizens of this country.
Around 20 schools all over the district, Murshidabad ,were invited and encouraged to join this event and to participate in various competitions like –preparation of models, quiz ,drama, exhibits display, craft mela , power point presentation on various aspects of environmental awareness and need for the conservation.
Eminent personalities like Dr. Debi Prasad Duari (Director, Birla Planetarium), Dr. Bichitra Guha (Dean of faculty affair ,IIST, Shibpur), Dr. Arvind Gambheer (Former scientist NASA Bangalore),Dr. Kalyan Rudra (Chairman, Pollution Control Board, WB) who have made outsrtanding contribution to make the earth a safe place to dwell ,were invited to share their experience and motivate the students.
